What this site does
Instead of relying on an internal company status page, this tracker is built entirely from reports submitted by real Comcast and Xfinity customers. When you report an outage, it appears on the live map and in your city's report feed immediately, so your neighbors can see what's actually happening in real time.
Why we built it
Official outage status pages don't always reflect what customers are actually experiencing on the ground, especially for smaller, localized issues. A community-driven approach can surface real problems faster, purely from the volume and pattern of genuine user reports.
How accurate is the data?
All data on this site comes directly from user submissions. We don't independently verify each report, so accuracy depends on real people reporting real issues. If you see a report that looks wrong or spammy, or if a pattern of reports doesn't match your own experience, treat it as one data point among many rather than a guarantee.
